A commitment to past, present and future
On Kaua'i's south shore lies an area rich with history and legend,
blessed with abundant natural beauty. Inhabited as early as 1050 AD, site
of Hawaii's first sugar plantation and home to a thriving society of migrant
workers whose contributions endure to this day. Kukui'ula, Kaua'i's Living
Garden.
Named for the candlenut torches that guided ancient fishermen safely back
to shore, Kukui'ula is once again beckoning a new generation home. DMB has
teamed with the kama'aina company of Alexander & Baldwin to create a
lifestyle sanctuary true to the spirit, traditions and heritage of old
Kaua'i.
